Remember when my husband was starting OCS and we talked about shaving the beret? Here is the process.
1. Shave
2. Soak in the hottest water possible.
3. Put it on your head to form to your shape

Am I the only one who finds it odd that the Army would choose head-wear that requires so much finicky preparation?

You can buy the ones that are already shaved at US Cavalary. I wish they would go back to wearing the patrol caps all the time.
