Day ends on a happy note

Tonight I took the girls back to church we have been attending here. For one it was nice because I got a few minutes to myself. Also it was nice because I found us a sitter!!!!! AND she is available this Saturday! So my husband and I are going on a date!!! We are not sure what we will do or how long we will be gone, but WOO-HOO!!!!!! That makes me feel better!!!
Also, my oldest had one of those moments today that just melts your heart. She was in her room taking her rest. All of a sudden music started playing LOUDLY from her room. I went to ask her to turn it down. If you are familiar with Christian music it was Toby Mac's cd "Portable Sounds" =). Actually it is MY mother's day gift from last year, but the girl LOVES it! So, I go in and find her standing at her princess table, in her t-shirt and panties, wearing fairy wings, coloring with markers a picture for her daddy and her little legs were bouncing in time to the music. Priceless and precious. Moments like that make parenthood. My husband and I have been blessed with two great kids!

Whew!

I am SO tired right now!! Before we moved down everyone said, "Wow. You seem to be taking everything in stride. You are not crying to acting stressed." I think it is all catching up to me. It could be that, or it could be the fact that my throat it killing me. Or it could be the fact that I have gotten the "running" bug and have started running again. I did 1 1/2 miles on Monday and a little over 2 miles today. Or it could be the fact that I have 24-7 care of two girls who are incredibly good but very tiring. Or it could be.... ok I will stop. Things are really very good here! We got to see my husband for 20 minutes yesterday and we are almost half-way done with his training. The girls have been great and tonight I will get a 45 minute break when we go to church. Later we plan to go to the pool! Tomorrow we get to go to a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese! Fun! Then Friday I get to have the oil changed. YUCK!

Happy news!

Nothing too exciting happened here with me and the girls. We went to the gym, swam and played. Nothing real big. BUT then my husband called and said that during Memorial Day they will be off base overnight from Sunday through Tuesday!!!!!!! YEA!!!!! See, two weeks before Memorial Day they go into the field. Literally. There will be no contact. We are not even sure if he will be in the barracks on the weekend. During field they live in tents and shower in ponds etc. Sounds pleasant, huh? He will be VERY good at that part of his training!! He has a great sense of direction. But we were really sad about that whole time not seeing each other etc. So needless to say we are THRILLED with the latest development!!
Oh, by the way, his eye is better today, but not completely. He also has his first leadership position this week. He will be graded on it. It's major, so please be remembering him daily.

Hello/Good Bye

It seems that is all we are doing lately. We get all excited and cannot wait to go pick him up, the time flies and then we are saying good-bye again. The weekend was great, but we were all teary eyed leaving him on base again. We got him this morning and took the girls to check out a local bakery!! I really cannot remember everything we did. I know that we hung out at the apartment a lot. The girls spent an hour on the porch playing with roly poly bugs! It was so cute! They would "collect" them and call them their pets and then the youngest wanted to MASH them! It was so funny and so sweet to have kids that can play like that for so long. We took him to their favorite place to eat here. The night ended really sad. His eye started hurting and I had to stop at a pharmacy and get him some things for it. He was actually going to ask permission to skip a class tonight so he could keep it closed. I hated leaving him. I won't even know till tomorrow (maybe NIGHT) how he is. So great day/sad night. Please keep him in your prayers.

Off Base!!!

Today rocked!!! We spent the entire day with my husband!!! We started off at a coffee shop, followed it up buying a table and chairs for the apartment, then came home, ate, swam, ate some more and shopped for what he needed to update his list. It was great!! Tomorrow we get to repeat it!! Yea!!!!

More fun!

Today was great! We got up and met two of friends, one little boy and me and the girls went to a coffee shop! The kids played on a sidewalk and we sat and talked for about 2 hours!!! Then I found a health store that carries MY brand of wheat flour to make our bread!! I am SO excited! Then we went to that art museum! I was not expecting it to be really great, but just free. I was blown away!! It was a beautiful museum and we managed to stay there close to 2 hours and ALL had a great time! We followed it with lunch. Then finally the girls had naps/rest. We met up again for dinner and then off to see the guys! Where we were given to AWESOME news that they are off base tomorrow and Sunday and in civilian clothes!!!! I am SO completely excited!!!!!!! There are not enough exclamation points on this computer to express it! So don't expect to reach me on my phone. I will be with my husband and the girls and that is it!

FUN

I have been so busy the past few days I have hardly had time to think about blogging! Today was a complete blast!! I attended my first class at my new gym and it ROCKED! It killed me, but you know, in a "I love this pain" kind of way! =) Then as I was leaving I found a FREE picnic table for the girls. It's really cute! Then we met a lady and her daughter at a playland where I was able to talk to her for 2 hours and the girls played the ENTIRE time!!! The oldest was even talking! But the best part of the day was getting to plan a secret! My friend (her hubby is in my hubby's OCS class) was planning to come visit her hubby. I told her to not tell him but surprise him. So, she called and said she was here a day early. We met on base and took the kids out to dinner then at night her husband came with mine to the van and they popped out. The look on his face was PRICELESS!!! I was so teary eyed! Tomorrow we are going to a coffeeshop and an art museum (don't I sound like a New York mama?)! I am not sure what the rest of the day will hold but I am excited!

Shots of the girls looking insanely cute and summery!

It's Official

Princess glasses

Today we were out by the pool and I was marveling at the people there doing shots and drinking and smoking, when all of a sudden I remembered something funny that happened!
We were at the PX on base getting my husband some things he needed from this military clothing store. Maybe you know without me telling you, but the store was filled with soldiers. We were getting the girls these Army bears with shirts for them. The oldest was really excited and as we went to pay she loudly exclaimed that she would LOVE these little glasses to drink from at their princess table. Yup. Shot glasses!! I think more than one soldier had a little chuckle over that one. But I wondered if she was looking at these "cool" people tossing back shots at 2:30 in the afternoon and wondering why they were drinking out of princess glasses? I also wonder, would they feel less cool if she asked them that? Who knows!

Disappointment

You'd think that I would already be used to the frequent disappointments I keep experiencing but I am not. Last night I was talking with my husband and he sounded rather sad. I quickly learned why. We are not ALLOWED to go hang out with him during his new "free" time. Also they are basically free to go in the radius of about 1 block. Yeah. Not as great as we were expecting. We had this idea of two nights a week me coming over and letting the girls play while I proof read his papers and drilled him over his required knowledge. Poof. That dream is now gone. I was really sad, but we are allowed to come and pick up his laundry. So tonight I am taking homemade bread for him and picking up stinky socks!! Hey, I knew there was a silver lining here somewhere! =) Anything to see him!!

The joy of husbands

Seriously! I just had to share something. I belong to several online groups that carry me through these tough time being gone from my husband. One of them is a group of ladies who are Christians and have spouses in the military. That is the only rule. Today someone posted under "Praise reports" about how great their husband was. Currently her husband is on a 15 month deployment. A bunch of us started adding out replies about what is great about our husbands. It reminded me of yesterday morning though and I wanted to share because it was so special. Yesterday we sat together in church. When the man was saying one of the opening prayers I about lost it. I was getting so choked up thinking about how for 6 1/2 years we sat together in church and I never even gave it a second thought. Yesterday, sitting in church with my husband was an absolutely priceless gift! I hope I never forget that moment!
Then we were sitting under some beautiful Georgia trees, relaxing on a blanket with homemade cookies and Starbucks coffee, watching the girls run through the grass giggling and surrounded by flags and so many military things and it was awesome! All the stress and loneliness melted away in that moment. It made it all worth it just to be with him in those moments! Now today we can relax and wait to go see him tomorrow night! Just remember when you through your day today to appreciate your spouse! I do mine! He's the best!

Happy days are here again (at least a little)

Today we got to spend the bulk of the day with my husband!! We went to church together, ate lunch together, washed the van, went grocery shopping and laid in the sun on a blanket while eating homemade cookies and watching the girls play! It was such a breath of fresh air! We actually did all this on base because he is not allowed off base yet. But it really was a ton of fun! The girls had a blast. The youngest is in her room screaming for him now, so there is a downside to seeing him but it is well worth it!
After we left him on base we came home and the girls played outside with some friends, while I cleaned the van and talked with neighbors! It was fun! Plus we get to go see him on Tuesday night and Thursday night! YEA!!!!!

Know your neighbors

I am amazed once again at how God has been taking care of us. I have been real sad lately. Scared out of my mind thinking about deployments and feeling really far away from my husband etc. But it is nice to remind myself how far God has brought us and how much He has done to show us this is where we are supposed to be (far at least the next 2 years 10 1/2 months)! =)
Well, I was nervous about who are neighbors would be and what it would be like here. I now know we have 3 Army Rangers, an Army Officer and a Captain plus us! I think that is pretty cool and it makes me feel rather safe here. I met the people across the hall and they are really nice. They have a little girl who is 1 month older than our youngest. We went over to their place and the girls all played for awhile.
It has been beautiful here today and now tomorrow we get to spend time with my hubby!

Good news

One of my husbands friends (and yes I am friends with his wife too) switched duty with my husband so that he can see me and the girls on Sunday! I cannot tell you how excited we are! The girls will flip out when I tell them. Today the oldest said, "I thought we left all our friends to see Daddy so why doesn't the Army let him see us"?
OH yeah, that reminds me of a HILARIOUS moment from our day! We were on our way to gym and in front of us was a dump truck that had prisoners hanging on the back. They had on the uniforms and neon vests that said, "Prisoner" etc. They were going around picking up big trash from the curbs. The oldest said, "What if one of those guys in uniforms was our daddy?" Hehehehehe!!!!

No waiting for me! =)

I am real proud of myself at the moment at least! I was really bummed out about not seeing him Saturday and then he tells me he has duty Sunday and we won't see him then either. Well, I took matters into my own hands, called a girl whose husband is in my husband's class and we have plans to go to a craft show and take the girls to lunch afterwards! Should be fun and distracting. Then another friend called and she and her hubby are babysitting for some little kids and wanted to set up a playdate!! Can you believe I have only been living here 3 days??????
I now have something to look forward to this weekend. Now if something can just work out so we can see him on Sunday!!

Diet Pepsi

I just had to mention something that happened the night before we moved. My parents kept the girls while I had my night out with the girls! They treated me to Cheddars! It was really fun! While I was gone, my mom began getting emotional. See, they have NEVER gone more than 7 days without seeing the girls and now we will be 800+ miles apart. Evidently she started crying and the oldest saw her mascara dripping and said, "nana, you eyes are leaking Diet Pepsi!" CUTE!!!!!
Today has been beautiful here! I got in my first workout at the new gym. It felt good, but man I miss my old group! After that I was cleaning while the girls napped/rested and I heard a knock on the door. It was a neighbor (see previous posts) and she came JUST to bring me and the girls some flowers!!!! Is that sweet or what? It absolutely made my day!
I took the girls to the pool today and it was us and all these young half-naked people (mostly guys). Well one of them had a very excessive amount of tattoos. The oldest said, "uh-oh. He better not get int he water because all his stamps will melt off!" You see, she possesses this hidden talent of being able to make grown men feel like girls. Seriously! The other night our waiter had long hair with a ponytail and hair clips. She says, QUITE LOUDLY, "Mommy! That man has girl hair and girl clips! He must be a man-girl." Today there was the macho looking mack daddy type of guy at the pool. He thought he was so cool flexing his muscles while he sat on the edge. Our oldest exclaimed at FULL kid volume, "oh Mommy!! Look! His little flower pants are SOOOOO cute!!! I wish I had some like those!" It was awesome!!! I just knew my husband would have been rolling! He loves that kind of stuff!

Where's Waldo???

That is what I have been asking about my husband. There are literally hundreds of photos of his OCS class on photo bucket, but I cannot find him. FINALLY he has made one! I will post the link and see if you can see him!
http://s293.photobucket.com/albums/mm57/echo501-08/CWST/?action=view¤t=067.jpg

Tonight was fun! A new friend of mine and her husband (and dog) all came over to visit us! I have had more company here than before we moved!!!
I love it!

Settling in

After what feels like a 3 week whirlwind, we are settling down a little here. I ahe my kitchen set and ready to go, bathrooms are ready, T.V. and internet are a go, washer and dryer (also done), cleaning supplies ready to use. The only thing incomplete, is we don't have a couch, dining room stuff, or dressers for all the clothes that don't get hung up. BUT we have eaten breakfast and lunch HERE today and I even found time to take the girls out to the sidewalk to ride their scooter and roller skates! They saw a lizard too!
They like being down here near their daddy!
We feel pretty safe in our complex too. In fact, I have a REALLY weird story! I have a great friend where we just moved from and she has a good friend that lives down here part of the time. So she gave me her number to call and see if we could meet up here. I am unloading the van on Tuesday and this lady says "Hi". Lo and Behold, this is the lady I am supposed to be calling!!!! Seriously!! She lives right beside us!!!! It gets better..... She has been reading my blog and my husbands blog and has figured out that her husband in one of my husbands company commanders!!!!!! Now to you non-military people this makes it tricky!!! See, officer candidates cannot be friends with company commanders until AFTER graduation. Officers cannot ever be friends with the enlisted men and their families. Therefore I cannot befriend enlisted spouses etc. There is a reason for it, but it is weird. SO, back to the story. She had consulted with her hubby to find out what that meant for us. He said there are no restrictions on wives and we can openly be friends. But he has to really careful not to be friends with my husband and if we meet in the complex they say "hi" and keep walking. Weird and strange and very exciting! She actually WANTS to hang out by the pool and watch the girls swim! That will make it much more fun for me.
To top it off, I think I have FINALLY found a gym to use. After the youngest wajes up from her nap we are going to check it out!!!
The only downer, DH has training on Saturday and we do not even get to see him. BUT we should on Sunday!!

About the visit

Well, we are back from visiting my husband and we all had a good time. We went to the PX, drank coffee and took the girls to a playground. The girls were so good and they loved seeing their Daddy! What neither of us saw coming was how hard it was to say good bye all over again. He was choked up and I was crying.
However, now we have another change of plans. Tomorrow all our things are going into a storage unit and I am moving down with the girls on Tuesday instead of Friday!! 48 hours from now we will be living in the apartment you see pictured below.
OH, by the way, the man who you were thinking did not exactly look like my husband is not! That is for a friend of ours so she and their kids could see him.
My husband is the one holding the girls!!!

Unicorns, men in dresses and the emergency room

My day involved everything in the title of this entry. Curious? Good!
First, I slept all night with both girls because the oldest was keeping us all awake with her cough. By morning I could tell she was running a fever. I guessed around 100 and she was crying, moaning and lethargic. Being away from home, no help from family and no friends here I was moments away from panic. So, I called the base and they said to bring her to the E.R. We did (it was FREE) and she was in and out in an hour! Hooah! It was great! PLUS, she did have a fever, but no strep and her lungs are clear. Her tonsils were red and she has pharangitis. So we gave her motrin and tussin and she perked up within 2 hours and was ready to eat again!
We got our apartment leased and moved in everything in the van! It was exciting! Then I did a practice drive to the barracks so that we will not get lost again! it was easy this time. Thanks goodness!
That leads me to the rest of the title. We were walking around again at the barracks when this H*U*G*E MAJORLY Strong looking 6'4 (?) black man walked past and the youngest says quite loudly, "Look! There goes another unicorn wearing a dress like Daddy!" WHAT?!?!?! I about died!!! I know he heard but he just ignored us. So then things start falling into place. She kept telling me things aobut unicorns. Evidently she thinks the uniforms look like dresses and that the people wearing them look like unicorns. Could it be the berets??? I have no idea! It was good for a laugh though!
Tomorrow is THE day!!! Hopefully we will have photos on Tuesday!

Clap for a fun day!

Today was actually lots of fun! We went to the local gym and had a great workout. Then we went and bought a used washer and dryer. I took the girls to the base! We visited the PX and all I can say is WOW! i was blown away! We ate there and then went shopping. I did something that I NEVER do! I bought MYSELF a new dress and new shoes! I am SO wearing them when we see my husband on Saturday. As great as all this was, this was not the highlight of our day. We were on base looking for where my husbands barracks were. It took us 2 hours and finally we met a guy who helped us. We hopped out of the van and started walking. We saw where his company was and started squealing (girl style)! Well, then we look behind us and see three guys running and one of them is practically jerking their arm out of socket because they are waving so hard. IT WAS HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! May I just say he looked AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear the girls and I were running and clapping and screaming and jumping! Obviously he was not allowed to stop but he waved and flashed "I love you's". It ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we came back here, went swimming and had a pizza picnic in our room. As we were eating, the oldest said, "Let's all clap for a fun day!" I thought that was a cute way to end the night! We ALL agreed that our FAVORITE part was seeing Daddy!!! We LOVE him!!!!

More of the same

Well, no visitors allowed. BUT unless someone messes it up we will get to see him on Saturday from 9-5! Me and the girls will be there at 7! =) Two more days to get through. I have plenty to do down here though to get ready for the big move!

S.A.D. Girls

My husband sent me a text and said we could not come tonight. I do not know what this means yet. He said he will call me later. The youngest was bawling her eyes out. I was too. So, we got all dressed up and took ourselves out to dinner to "cheer" us up. The girls were so exhausted they kept getting cranky and I was so bummed the food seemed yuck and I barely ate. Oh well. There's always tomorrow!

Made it!

We are here and have seen our apartment and are checked in at the hotel. I am exhausted!!!! We will see my hubby in 4 hours and 49 minutes. Not that I am counting or anything! =)
The apartment is nice. Maybe not as nice as I had in my mind, but very clean and safe feeling. Mirrors ALL over the place! That will keep me going to the gym for sure! =) The girls were already dancing like princesses in front of them. We are directly across from one of the 6 pools and they can take FREE tennis lessons from a tennis pro! How cool is that? I have a lot to do and feel down right now just because I am so tired. The girls are resting and I am taking them swimming in a few minutes.
I will keep everyone posted!!

TOMORROW

This time tomorrow I will be HUGGING the tar out of my husband!!!! The girls and I hit the road early this morning! Please pray for a safe and uneventful trip for us!
I should have internet at the hotel so I can blog and email from there!!!

I made the list

At our gym they have this program where you can go to a computer in the gym and type in your id number. This number works on all the machines and tracks everything you do and gives you points for it. These points do absolutely nothing, but it is fun. Well, every month they post the top 30 for cardio, weights, number of workouts and pounds lifted. I have been striving to make it up and I did!!! I was number 30 for my amount of cardio exercise for the month of March and then when I went to log out I had enough points to be promoted to the Yellow Level!!! Again, that means NOTHING but I was thrilled nonetheless!!!
Now I have to share something that made me curious. Here is a sign I passed yesterday. "Unique Pain Clinic. Legitimate pain control." That was it. Nothing else. Any thoughts?

Home free

I am so glad to be home!! I drove a total of 8 hours today with no relief and only 2 very quick stops. I cannot stand long stops when you KNOW you want to be home. Plus I knew I had to get the garbage lugged out, take out the recycling, unload the van, unpack and get the girls settled and into their beds. THEN I get to sit around and wait for the phone to ring! =)
Last night the phone did not ring. He called this morning and said they were given a smoke session. I will not steal his thunder as I imagine you will be reading about this lovely experience on his blog in the near future! =)
The girls were SO incredibly great on this trip! They never fussed about the drive. Then I put them to bed and they were out like lights!
Now if only I can get this phone to ring.....

Winding down

This has been a fun little weekend for the most part. The girls have been entertained by a dog named Cocoa who DOES NOT TIRE of fetch or any other game. I took them to the bakery this morning and they thought that was SO cool! We got to sit on those little bar stools right at the front counter, got tiny glasses of water and they of course had a doughnut! They also went to 2 parks today! They should be out like lights in moments tonight! At the first park there were peacocks. They were amazed! At the second park I think our oldest ran about 1/2 mile. No, I am not exaggerating. I really think she did. It was awe inspiring! I got a nice workout in at the Y here. My parents had a little dinner party thrown in their honor. Now in the morning, we go to church and then home! I am ready to be back at our house and cook our own meals again. Mine and the girls stomachs have been hurting here.
I did get to talk to my husband earlier and with any luck he will be calling me back soon!

Popcorn

Today was much better for the girls. Last night they were actually stressed about being in a hotel. Today they were a little happier. I think mostly it is because we had about 1 1/2 hours to play here. I took them to the lounge and found they have FREE milk! So they got milk and there snacks here are ultra cheap! For 1.50 I got bottled water, diet pepsi and a bag of popcorn !! We popped the popcorn and I let them sit on the plush carpet and eat it. I sat down with them and was showing them how to catch it in their mouths! It was a RIOT!! I got a photo, but man you had to see them in action! There was popcorn FLYING all over! (Seriously, it did not make a mess though. They only did one at a time and would eventually just pop it in their mouth). So for all the neat freaks~no worries!!
My husband did call last night and he was depressed, tired and not feeling well AT ALL. I was all bubbly and encouraging, but when we hung up, I lost it. I cried and then realized how completely UNproductive that is, so I started praying and prayed until I fell asleep. He has been really heavy on my mind so if you think of him ,please just say a little prayer.
Thanks!

Doctor

I forgot to tell you that the doctor called back today. The other test came in and he consulted with the pediatric neprhologist and her is fine. Evidently she is stressed about her daddy and that is causing the extreme thirst. It is a condition called psychogenic. Weird, but true. Evidently we have two little girls that we have sheltered and they are both highly stressed. Sigh. BUT I am so thankful that she is healthy! WE still are taking her in next Tuesday because he wants to keep an eye on her blood pressure etc.

Road Trip

We are traveling with my parents and sister right now. Tonight is the first time the girls have ever been in a hotel. They are being really good, but cannot fall asleep. I did not think I would be able to blog, but I have taken the computer on the road and logged into another network BY MYSELF! Yea!! It's really nice being able to travel with this and check my email and everything. I am rather tired. I have probably driven more today than any other day in my life! It's just another in a long list of things that make me really miss my husband. On the plus side, when I wake up in the morning it will be 7 days till we see him!! Have I mentioned that lately? That we get to go see him in days? Every time I felt drowsy driving, I would just imagine what our reunion will be like and I'd wake right back up!
I don't have much blog fodder, but I did see a REALLY weird sight today. We were driving through some small, sad town in Ohio, when we came across a funeral home. Hanging from the lightposts were Ohio State football flags, hanging under th USA flag was an Ohio State football flag and in the parking lot??? A HUGE inflated Brutus Buckeye mascot complete with spotlights on it!!! I kid you not!! This is a permanent feature!! I hope that gives you something to think about! =)

Got Trash?

OK, I was talking to my husband WHO CALLED a few minutes ago and remembered a totally funny story I forgot to blog about.
Our big trash pick up is scheduled to come by soon. So my dad has been helping me drag stuff to curb. We took a broken box fan, a vaccum cleaner missing the dirt container, a partly used bag of cat litter, a rice cooker and just used paint tarps etc. Guess what? Grifters came, and took it all INCLUDING THE CAT LITTER!!! Seriously. How weird is that???? Are you laughing with me now?

Wednesday (for lack of a better title)

I attended my first yoga class today and it was ok. I am sore but it was not really an exciting class. I am so proud of myself (so please enjoy my moment of bragging)! I installed a portable dvd player into the van by myself and it worked, I rented a storage unit, booked an apartment, set up my tour of the area, finished packing the house and kept track of the girls! Whew!! I cannot believe how much my husband does! I am exhausted!
Then I got a call during yoga from the pediatrician nurse. They said that all the youngest's tests came back ok. Her creatin was low, but they just wanted her to come back next Tuesday for a recheck. However, then I was cooking dinner and the Doctor called. He said he is not satisfied. He said he is still waiting for the results from one urine test. He said he does not think this is anxiety related, but he is not sure what is going on with her. He is consulting with a pediatric neprhologist to see what they think and they are going to do some further testing. So, basically we have no real answers. But we go back next Tuesday and we will see what happens.
We are going to Ohio for the weekend so please do not worry when you don't hear from me. I should be back online on Sunday!!!!

Tuesday, April 1, 2008

Whew!

I heard from him again tonight and he sounded so much... perkier? I am sure he is cringing inwardly at my choice of words! Sorry, hubby! It did my heart good to hear that. He had his best ever PFT score and said he was slightly above average compared to most scores!! They did a rope exercise that was easy and fun for him too. He was really tired and ready for his first shower in 3 days!!! They have not been able to unpack until tonight and so they have been unable to shower. (can you imagine the odor of 100+ men in 80 degree heat, running everywhere they go ALL day and night and no showers????)
Our oldest daughter had a bad day at school. Her anxiety was in over drive. Then she was stressing because we sold the motorcycle.
Another positive is we now OFFICIALLY have a signed contract on the house!
Now we can hope for more good news tomorrow.....

Nap

I sure wish I could take a nap today! We took the youngest in for her test this morning and the results were not what I expected to hear. They still aren't sure what is wrong, if anything. Her urine was still somewhat diluted. They drew three huge vials of blood and are running 3 different tests on her urine sample. He said, "This could be something really signifigant, or it could be stress." Yeah, that really helped a lot. Then I went to get the oldest from preschool and we find out one of her classmates got HUGELY sick. THEN her teacher tells me that she was crying off and on all morning. Her anxiety had bested her. She would not eat or play (even outside) because she had colored a picture for her teacher and left it in the van. My heart broke for her. I hope that tomorrow we get glorious results and you get to read one perky blog! Until then, my apologies.
