Thanks for coming

After church today (sans my husband =( ) I took the girls to our favorite Mexican place to eat. We had a great time together and the service was nice. The waitress brought our ticket and said, "Thanks for coming today" or something very similar. The oldest said, "Why do they always say that when we go someplace? I think it is because they want more of our money." I almost spit water out my nose! That just tore me up! Kids are so cool.

I was at church without Ernie. I am 2 out of 3 Sundays though now. I am getting used to it. He gets to go 99.9% of Wed. nights though.

They do want your money! They should really say... Thanks for spending you're hard earned money to eat our food and pay for my service!

She is really a clever kid!

I was thinking the same thing as Kristan! That IS why they say it. Pretty smart for a soon-to-be-siz-year-old. :)

I'm thankful that when you're alone, it's temporary. There are a lot of women trying to raise kids, while they work 40 hour weeks.
