Park Closing

Otter Creek Park, the setting for these wonderful memories, will be closing on January 2, 2009. It makes us very sad. It was the one thing in this immediate area that would have made us want to stay here and was great enough to make us try and come back here. We loved that park. It is closing due to the economy. I find that hard to comprehend because there were always people there. They have that amazing water park, beautiful cabins to rent, a neat conference center, a super nature center, frisbee golf course, rock climbing, trails for the experts and the families and more. It is very sad and was quite the hot topic of discussion around here. I am hoping something will change between now and then. It will be a huge loss to the area.
