Things to Do on a Snow Day

How about some snow art?

Easy to do, fun for hours (or til your kids are too cold), appropriate for all ages from 1-100 and as close to free as possible.
What do you need?

People who want to play in the snow.  Food coloring.  Water.  And some kind of container.
What do you do?

Fill the container(s) with water and add in food coloring.  Mix it up.  Then head out to show and spray it or shake it on to create your art!  In the past we have old juice bottles, water bottles, spray bottles.  You could use just about anything really.
Our girls absolutely LOVE snow art!  It entertains them for hours!  They keep coming in for refills and I try to be creative with the colors.  Here are some pics of them enjoying the snow we got last night.

This looks like so much fun! I know my boys would love it:) We rarely get enough snow to even cover the ground, so I will have to remember this if we ever go on vacation somewhere snowy!

Monkey would be so jealous if he saw these pictures. All he wants for Christmas is for it to snow again this year. I kid you not, my 5 year old watches the weather channel to see if there is even a chance it would happen! lol.I like the idea of the art work though, that's very creative!!!
