Knock, Knock

It is truly funny. Our girls just do not get jokes. Ever. They make up jokes like all kids but they make less sense than other kids. It will go, "Knock, knock." "Who's there?" "Apple" "Apple who?" "Apples taste good when you dip them in peanut butter." Yeah. That is about as good as they get.
So today we are driving along and the Genius says, "Mommy, do you remember the joke about 'what animal do you not want to play cards with?' " I told her yes, but did not remember the answer. She says, "Well the answer was 'cheetah" but that really surprised me." I said, "Well what did you think it would be?" She said, "An elephant because their big hands and bodies would just squash all the cards. That makes more sense than a cheetah." I asked her why they would even pick a cheetah. She said, "'cause they do everything real fast." I LOVE our kids!

Well, you've got to give them credit for some sort of logic, even if they don't "get" the humor part. :)

That is awesome! Teresa is learning knock knock jokes too. 3 year old's versions are hysterical. She just inserts whatever shes looking at into the joke. "knock knock." whos there? "hat" Hat who? "hat flower lemonade" oh Teresa, thats a good one!
