Well, actually I mean flu shots. Do you get them? Why or why not? I took the Professor in for his 15 month check up. He is in the 58th % for his weight, the 81st for his height and 87th for his head. Looks like he will be tall and smart! LOL! While we were there he got his flu shot and I got mine. I told my sister-in-law and she went to get hers. The girls are getting theirs tomorrow. What about you?

As you know, the Hubby has to get one being in the Army and medical fields... However, the boys and I don't get them. Since the boys aren't "high risk" of complication I don't really see the point...
I'm hoping for "good example" points to counter the fact that I don't wear a bike helmet. :)
my hubby and I have both had ours. Kiddos haven't gotten theirs yet. Usually the health dept. does a free clinic at their school so I've been waiting to see if they are going to. Otherwise, they will get theirs soon. They get the mist. I got the shot...1st time ever, but did it for the baby.
Always! Thousands of people still die every year from the flu so I'm all for the vaccine.
Neither I nor the girls have ever gotten a flu shot. Hubby's only had one, and that was a very long time ago. I don't really see the point of flu shots; half of the time it's for the "wrong" flu anyway. I don't really trust them, I don't like needles, etc. We just try to be smart and use common sense to keep from getting sick, and we do things to boost the immune system naturally as well. One year we did all get the flu, but only that once so far. :)
This is the first year that everybody in my family has gotten one-all for the baby. We also got whooping cough boosters. Ususally I don't get the shot, but the pediatrician explained how dangerous it could be for George if he were to get either virus from somebody in the family. I figure it's better to feel icky the day of the shot than to risk the worse effects of the flu on a baby :(
