Moving in the Right Direction

We prayed for an increase in my progesterone and it DID go up a tiny bit! Last week is was 14.89 and this week it was 15.81.  A very minor increase but it did go UP and that is what my doctor wanted to see.  She also said more importantly is the fact that the baby was moving around like an acrobat at my last appointment and the heartbeat was super strong and steady.  I have had this feeling of acceptance come over me this week like I actually feel pregnant.  I am not sure you can relate unless you have experienced a loss, but it was almost like a part of me was trying not to get attached in case we lost this baby as well.  But I have noticed myself daydreaming a lot more about our little baby, getting SO excited to learn the gender (but I already know it's a girl LOL!) and saying "when" this baby comes instead of "if".  I am physically feeling pregnant too.  Just noticing little things here and there.  Tomorrow we will be 13 weeks.  My doctor is having me come twice a week for awhile now.  Once for an ultrasound each week and the second appt. is for my lab work.  I am staying on the injections twice a week as well.  My husband is getting much better at giving them to me.
Thanks for all the prayers on our behalf! Please keep praying for our tiny miracle!

Daddy's Little Helper

Our Little Racer

Posing for some shots before the race!
Waiting to do her stretches and warm up.

She and her friend sharing secrets before the race.  Wonder what they were saying?

She is somewhere in that mob above and in the mob below.

 Here they come!
 Getting closer!
 Zooming past Mommy!
Out of breath and thrilled to get a ribbon! She finished the mile in under 9 minutes.  We were so proud of her.  She wants to keep running and would like to do a few races this summer!
Daddy and the Professor there to cheer her on!

Going Up

Well, I guess deep inside I was really hoping my numbers would just JUMP up.  I was also terrified they would go down.  Instead, they went up, but just very slightly.  Last week my progesterone was at 12 and this week, after two painful injections, it went up a little to 14.59.  I am not complaining at all.  I will definitely take it but I would like to see the numbers keep rising.  I am so thankful for this increase though.  It is still low.  The nurse I talked to, said the doctor has not reviewed my results yet but that she thinks my doctor will just stick with twice/week injections at home with weekly labs drawn to check my levels.  If that changes when the doctor reviews the results the nurse will call to let me know.
Meanwhile, I am thankful for the small increase and praying that they increase even more for next week.  Please keep praying for our little baby.  I get to see the baby on Tuesday.  I will be 12 weeks and 3 days then.  The baby should be almost 2" and I cannot wait to see that baby again!  Please keep us in your prayers because that will be a hard appointment for me.  The last baby we lost, actually died at 12 weeks 3 days or 12 weeks 4 days, but we just did not discover it until my scan at 15 weeks 3 days.  So, I will be very nervous at the appointment.
Tonight my husband will give me another injection and we will all be praying that this baby stays happy and healthy!

Here are some pictures I captured the last week we were at the old rental house.  The kids were having so much fun in the "pool"!

Random Pics of the new House

If you zoom in on the photo above you can see some orange poles.....that is the LINEAR TRAIL just at the end of our backyard!

These were very random pics and as we get settled I will get some pics of the inside.  We are mostly unpacked and I am back to cooking and planning meals.  It is the right house for our family and we are so happy to be here!

Moving and Updates on this Pregnancy

I need to keep this short and sweet because we are awfully busy.  We moved into this house last Monday.  My husband had a team from our church come and help.  We had enough friends come with good attitudes, trucks and trailers that they got us moved in two trips!  It was also the hottest day of the season so far.  I think they all came close to melting.  Meanwhile we are slowly unpacking.  I have a fully functional kitchen and 3 bedrooms are basically done but we still have a lot of boxes to go through.  With my husband working 6 days a week and me taking it easier than normal it is a slow process.
Meanwhile I have been at the doctor quite a bit.  My progesterone went on a rapid decline.  22 to 21 to 20 to 12.  It sent us all into a tailspin.  They called in an order for progesterone injections that I do at home.  Yesterday my husband and I went in to meet with the staff and they gave us informal lessons on how to do the injections.  Last night my husband gave me the first one.  I am not sure who was more scared; me or him.  However, it was nowhere near as bad as I feared.  My arm is really not even sore today.  Hopefully they will get easier from here on out.  It took my husband about 6 tries before he could actually go through with it.  I thought we were going to have load up and drive to my mom's! LOL!  We did see the baby on Wednesday and the baby was measuring exactly on track and had a heart rate in the 160's.  However, with the progesterone levels dropping we are scared for the safety of this baby.  We are just praying like crazy for this little one.  The best and only gift I want this Christmas is to be holding this little baby safe in our arms.
